Les Arcs is celebrating 50 years this season with a varied programme of events across the coming year. We think one of the more exciting developments is an innovative footbridge at the Aiguille Rouge glacier. Right at the top of Les Arcs at 3226m, the bridge is 35m long with glass walls, and will be accessible to pedestrians as well as skiers. Don’t forget to take a selfie!
The panoramic views are simply amazing from the top and we can’t wait to go up and have a look round. The Aiguille Rouge cable car has also been given a facelift, freshly painted in bright red, and here’s a very recent photo of it taken last week.
From the top, you can then do one of Europe’s longest run, the infamous 7km Aiguille Rouge Run, all the way down to Villaroger. No stopping though!
