Wonderful pudding in our catered La Plagne chalets

Nowadays, good food and wine are one of the most important parts of any great holiday. We are passionate about cooking and plating up tasty, delicious food that you will remember long after your holiday is over.

And for that reason, unlike many chalet firms, we only employ professional chefs who have had experience in restaurants to ensure we provide our guests with beautifully presented and delicious cuisine.

Do flick through the photos below – every single one of the dishes here was lovingly prepared by one of our chefs in one of our chalets, so it really does give a true indication of the kind of food to expect.

Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working with young chefs who have between them: been in Masterchef the Professionals; worked with Raymond Blanc; worked under Michelin starred chefs; and cut their teeth at prestigious hotels and fine dining establishments.

Because our chefs have all had experience cooking in restaurants, you will have the opportunity to eat restaurant-quality food every night, exquisitely presented and tasty to match. Our chefs design and set their own menus, which means they are passionate about what they create. But we also know that skiers don’t want tiny portions, so we ensure that your dinners will also satisfy the hungriest of athletes!

And if you have any allergens or dietary requirements, such as gluten-free; dairy-free; vegan or vegetarian – that’s absolutely no problem for our chefs! Plus we will look after the fussiest of children with lovingly home-cooked meals!

Starter plate

For season 2023/24, a week’s holiday with Alpine365 consists of six catered evenings with complimentary bottled wine. Your chalet staff have 2 full days off, so during the week, guests will enjoy five fully catered days of cooked breakfasts, afternoon tea and a 4-course dinner. On one of the staff evenings off, we offer a 2-course Savoyard speciality, which is pre-prepared by the chef and guests simply need to re-heat themselves in the comfort of the chalet. On the other night, you get the opportunity to sample the local cuisine in the village. On both staff days off, guests will receive a continental breakfast and homemade afternoon tea.

Breakfast is plentiful, with a choice of cereals, croissants and breads, fruit yoghurts, porridge – and a cooked option 5 days out of 7. Not just an egg slapped on your plate though – we will serve a variety of sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms, eggs done all ways throughout the week.

Chamois CakeAfternoon tea is a tradition not to be missed after a long day on the slopes, and we won’t disappoint with our freshly baked cake or biscuits, French baguettes and a selection of teas and filter coffee waiting on the table for your arrival. On colder days mulled wine may await you on your return!

Alpine365 dinners are sumptuous 4-course affairs, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Why not start off the evening with an aperitif from our affordable honesty bar, before sitting down to a lovely dinner, ending with a selection of local cheeses to try, all accompanied by unlimited, bottled red and white wine at the table. Then retire to one of our many sofas to sleep it off – or maybe a nightcap from the bar, it’s up to you.
