We have just returned from the most amazing ski holiday, made extra special by the fabulous chalet hosts in a fabulous ski in ski out chalet.

We arrived to a very warm welcome from Stevie and Lilly and the most stunning views from the picture windows. The luxury chalet is very cosy and family friendly, and the hot tub is very welcome after a day skiing. The location of Les Coches is a picturesque resort set between La Plagne and Les Arcs, and so ample skiing was available right on our doorstep.

However nothing could have prepared us for the outstanding and high quality service we received during our stay. The food prepared by professional chefs Stevie and Lilly was out of this world, from the freshly cooked breakfasts to the homemade afternoon cakes culminating with the four/five course evening meal. What was so very special was how Stevie and Lilly looked after us and catered for the needs of both the children and adults accordingly – nothing was ever too much trouble for them.

As first time skiers everything had been organised for us by Duncan from Alpine365 including the ski lessons, ski equipment, lift passes and transfers. The chalet even has a driver (Jimmy) who was always happy to help with lifts to and from Les Coches – very useful when travelling with young children. All in all it was the most perfect ski experience and everything we could have wished for … we are already planning our return!

It doesn’t get much better than this for a ski holiday in a chalet on the slopes. Chalet Pisteside was exactly that, right next to a gentle run down to the lift. Ski in and ski out. The Chalet was absolutely delightful with four good sized double bedrooms each with its own quality bathroom. The living dining area was spacious and warm with all the amenities that you could ask for including an excellent value honesty bar.

Toorna, one of the owners of Apine 365, not only made the booking and paying process easy and straightforward but she also organised ski lift passes and ski and boot hire which were all ready and waiting for us when we arrived at the Chalet. A quick phone call to the ski hire shop by Stephen and the ski technician quickly came up to the chalet to fit the skis.

Toorna helped us to organise a nanny for our 7 month old granddaughter during morning skiing and also arranged transport between the airport and chalet. The driver Jimmi who also carries out a number of other jobs in the chalets was an absolute star in every way, navigating cheerfully through some very difficult driving conditions caused by exceptionally heavy traffic to make sure that we got safely to our destinations from and to the airport. So all in all a complete top quality service from Alpine 365 covering everything that you could possibly need.

What made our family holiday the best holiday that we have ever had and that we will all treasure and remember always with the fondest of memories were Stephen and Lilly, the chalet hosts. It wasn’t just the incredible Michelin star plus quality food that they conjured up every meal time, it wasn’t just the fact that they kept the chalet clean, warm and welcoming at all times, it wasn’t even just the fact that they couldn’t do enough to help us and make our whole holiday experience such an outstanding one.

As the trip organiser I was a little concerned that my well travelled companions and I would find Chalet Chamois not quite up to our needs. Immediately after we arrived and settled in it was obvious the holiday was going to be excellent.

The relaxed and friendly approach adopted by Toorna during the booking process was replicated by the host and chef Annalise and Paul. Our party enjoyed the imaginative food which was subtly adjusted to suit some dietary needs and was provided in sufficient quantity to satisfy the most voracious of appetites exhibited by one party member.

Indeed so confident was I in Pauls cooking for the first time in my life I tucked into a typical Maltese seafood starter that contained ingredients I had never eaten in my life.

The location is excellent, the hot tub well maintained and the provision of a driver useful although we skied in and out everyday. In summary a perfect holiday.

A superb ski-in, ski-out luxury chalet, located in a quiet area of Les coches. Rooms are warm and very comfortable, all en suite with baths.

The chalet was hosted by Lilly and Steve, who have a fantastic and friendly approach, nothing was too much for them. The food was amazing – great range of meats and starters and of course desserts. Make space for Lilly’s profiteroles and tiramisu! Great tasting cakes are freshly prepared to get you through till dinner.

Thanks also to Duncan and Toorna for advice on everything about the resort. Although we didn’t take Jimmi up on the offer of a pick up from Les Coches – good to know it was available.

The whole package is highly recommended, massive thanks to Lilly and Steve who have taken hosting to another level.

We stayed at the beautiful Chalet Chocolat and couldn’t have wished for a better week.

From the first email, Toorna was incredibly friendly and helpful. She helped us plan our trip down to the smallest detail. She also visited the chalet a couple of times during the week to make sure everything was going well.

The chalet itself was modern, clean and an ideal location to explore both Les Arcs and Le Plagne (only one lift to the Vanoise). It has a wonderful hot tub that is perfect after a long day skiing.

We can’t say enough nice things about Mègane and Zach – they were exceptional from the first day to the last. Both lovely people and always happy to help.
The food was incredible (he definitely is a professional chef!!) and we were struggling to eat all of it by the 4th course.

All the wines had been tried and tested by Toorna and Duncan, they were all delicious! Mègane also makes fantastic cocktails of which we enjoyed plenty in the hot tub. They also have an honesty bar which was extremely reasonable – €1 for a beer! Which again is perfect for the hot tub.

Overall, it was an amazing week and we will definitely be back!!

Just back from a week at Chalet Pisteside. Having been on many chalet holidays (15+) this one was my best trip yet. The chalet was in an excellent location, spotless and was very homely. The skiing was great and the area vast.

What made the week so memorable was the hosts, Stephen and Lilly Lenahan. Their hospitality skills were the best I have seen and their meals were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble.

Overall an excellent week that was impossible to fault. Good skills!

We spent the first week of Feb in Chalet Grizzli as 9 friends. Great sized rooms, and all of a similar size so no arguments about who gets the best one! Great views from the living area/terrace. Hot tub does wonders after a day of hard skiing.

Best thing about our stay has to be the food – Connor did a great job and made something new and interesting every day for us. Hot breakfast, afternoon cakes, 3 courses everyday with some nights having canapés and cheese as well. Honesty bar available and well used by our group!

Toorna was fab in the booking process and helped organise the wide variety of slope passes/lesson combos our group required.

As a group of good friends who have skied many times, we had high hopes and by God, you managed to exceed our wildest expectations.

Your considerate and friendly approach to us as guests made us relax from the minute we walked through the door. The imaginative food drew positive comments every time you served. You sensitively dealt with ‘No cream Sue’, ‘No eggs Sue’, and filled the Man Mountain that is Crofty at every sitting!

So all that’s left to say is thank you very much for being such in integral part of our superb holiday in Les Coches.

We really enjoyed our stay in the new Chalet Chocolat. We had stayed with Alpine365 4 years ago so felt confident we would have another enjoyable stay.

We were warmly welcomed by Jimmy at airport and enjoyed a seemless transfer to the Chalet. As we arrived early we walked into the town for lunch at La Zaccota.

We were then welcomed by Zach and Megane who really made the week. Nothing was to much trouble for them. They have been one of our favourite hosts it was a pleasure to meet such friendly and lovely young couple. Each night Zach prepared delicious and innovative dishes. We also enjoyed some pre dinner cocktails from Megane, the “white lady” was a popular choice at €5. The afternoon tea was another highlight of the day, coming back to yummy homemade cakes, scones and muffins, Salted Caramel Banana Cake was another favourite, then going for a soak in the hot tub.

The chalet is beautiful with a modern decor but still has a comfortable feel. Stunning views from the lounge and each bedroom. The Chalet is great for guest of all abilities being located next to the bubble lifts and is ski-in/ski-out to Chalet steps

Among the other amenities included we particularly enjoyed having snuggly bathrobes which were perfect for the Hot tub and heated boot warmers.

We had a great week and sure everyone else staying this season will have a wonderful time in the chalet and on the slopes.
