Work with us

Alpine365 is a proud member of ‘SBIT’. SBIT is a trade organisation that works with its members to ensure they are following all local and international employment laws for their staff. As we are a member, this gives you the confidence that you can trust Alpine365 as a responsible employee, and that we’ll do our very best to look after throughout your season. We are now recruiting for Ski Season 2024/25.

Due to French employment law, we are looking for people with an EU passport/Carte de séjour OR if you are a UK resident, we are able to apply for work permits and visas to allow you to work in France.

The key benefits of doing a ski season with us include:

  • We always put two members of staff in each chalet – so you’ll never be overloaded as chalet staff
  • A French CDD seasonal contract
  • A great wage, including holiday pay
  • You get 2 full days off a week
  • All travel to and from the UK/Europe
  • 2 – 3 weeks’ training before the first guests arrive – we don’t throw you into the deep end!
  • Full ski package including full area lift pass, ski insurance and ski hire
  • Great accommodation in your own apartment! Unlike some other firms, you’ll never share a room with a stranger
  • Montchavin and Les Coches are small, friendly resorts and it is easy to make friends, not just with other seasonnaires but also the locals
  • The skiing is amazing!
  • Because we are right in the middle of the Paradiski, you can easily get to the far ends of La Plagne and Les Arcs. It’s an ideal place to be located
  • It’s a great place to learn French (and enjoy French food and wine!)
  • We’re a small, family-run company that cares about our staff and guests. We want you to be proud of the company you work for and get the most out of your season. You will have the chance to make a real difference.

CHALET COUPLE (Professional chef & host)
We’re looking for experienced and enthusiastic couples to run and manage one of our six chalets in La Plagne. You will ideally be married, or have been together for at least two years. One of the couple will be a chef, the other will be our chalet host – you would, between you, be responsible for managing an individual chalet.

Due to the shared accommodation, we can not accept applications from a chalet host or a chef on their own – you must be part of a couple applying together!

The chef must be passionate about food and beautiful presentation, professionally trained with fine dining restaurant experience, and be happy to design his or her own menu within a budget. With a maximum of 12 to cook for, the chef will have time to add some creative garnishes and plate up beautifully.

The chalet host will be professional, presentable and friendly, and their role will involve looking after our highly valued guests, making them feel welcome and happy in the chalet that will become their home for the week. Your main role will involve maintaining extremely high standards of cleanliness, which will involve adhering to Covid-19 cleaning policies throughout the chalet. You will also be “front of house” at meals, ensuring that the quality of the food delivered by the chef is matched by your levels of service. Previous experience in catering and hospitality is a real bonus, but not a pre-requisite for an applicant with the right level of drive, a positive outlook to work, and an ability to get on with people of all ages, from children to grandparents.

Above all, you should really care about giving your guests the best customer service, feel proud of what you do and ensure they have a memorable holiday.

DRIVER/MAINTENANCE PERSON
We’re looking for an experienced, professional and friendly driver to take guests to and from the slopes or ski school in the mornings and afternoons, in our 8-seater minibus, and to provide transfers to and from train stations or airports. Other duties include driving staff to do their weekly shop, weekly laundry drop off, and valeting the minibus.

In addition, you will also be our resort “maintenance person,” and this will cover a wide variety of roles – general chalet maintenance, carpentry, snow clearance, hot tub management, wood chopping, and filling in for other staff as required. So it could be as simple as running in to town to pick up some light bulbs, or fix a dripping tap, or put up a curtain rail that one of our guest’s kids has pulled down. You are not expected to be a qualified plumber/electrician but you should be a competent odd-job-man and DIYer.

You will also be expected to have a strong working knowledge of vehicles, and will be expected to undertake general maintenance (eg topping up fluids etc) – you are not expected to be a mechanic, but an ability to extend your role to broader vehicle jobs (eg changing brake pads etc) will be looked upon favourably.

As you will have daily contact with the guests, you will have an outgoing personality, be able to interact with guests of all ages and nationalities, be professional, friendly, happy and smiling. You need to be extremely competent behind the wheel, as driving in the snowy mountains requires experience and a clear head.

An ability to speak French would be a real asset for the role.
