Fantastic Chalet!

We have just returned from a fabulous week staying at Chalet Grizzli, we really could not have asked for anything better. There were three families including 6 adults and 5 children. The chalet hosts and chef, Marius and Sabine were great, making sure they really looked after us. The standard of the chalet was high and it was kept beautifully by Sabine. The food was top notch with delicious 3 course meals served as well as a daily cake which was a welcome treat after a hard day on the slopes. The chalet really is ski in and ski out with the gondola just a few steps away. Everything has been well thought through including coded access, a generous sized boot drying room and nice extras such as luxury dressing gowns and toiletries. The communication with Toorna beforehand and while we were there was excellent, she arranged transfers, ski hire, lessons and even a restaurant for us on the chefs night off. We highly recommend a visit here, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing week at Chalet Chocolat!

We had an incredible week’s skiing at Chalet Chocolat! The booking process was seamless and Toorna went over and above to accommodate our needs and requests via email or WhatsApp on the run-up to our arrival. The transfer they organised for us from Grenoble was on time and fast, and great value for money.

The chalet itself is modern but cozy, very clean, spacious and with incredible views of the mountains. It’s located literally next door to a bubble lift to take you to the slopes, or you can ski down to a chairlift (a 1-minute ski) from about 20 meters from the chalet door from where you can take the lift up the mountain. We chose to come back via the bubble lift at the end to the day rather than ski down to Montchavin but it’s perfectly possible to ski home should you wish.

The hot tub is awesome, so nice at the end of a long day’s skiing. The food (cooked by a professional chef) was generally delicious, plentiful and superbly presented; the seared tuna in an Asian broth starter was one of my personal highlights. Wine during dinner is of decent quality and free-flowing. The cakes for afternoon tea were delicious too.

Montchavin is a lovely, ‘real’ working mountain village rather than a purpose-built resort and so it very charming with tonnes of character. We loved it. The trade-off is it’s relatively low altitude but, as previously mentioned, it’s very easy to get higher using the lifts (for which we never had a queue). The chalet hosts recommended to us some decent local restaurants and bars. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would love to return one day. I would wholeheartedly recommend this chalet, and Alpine 365 generally, for good value, high-quality skiing holidays.

Fantastic!

We stayed at Chalet Husky- 10 men on our annual ski-holiday! Great location, ski-in/ski-out, nice chalet and very friendly owners. Amazing staff!! Chef Thomas made great 4-course dinner with “Michelin” quality…. every night!! Great breakfast, great afternoon tea (and cake), pre-dinner canapés! Thomas’ girlfriend, Sarah fulfilled the perfect service at all times…. The two of them together made an excellent couple for our convenience at all times…. Hot tub always warm and clean. All in all, the best chalet stay so far! (this was our 6th). Thank you Toorna and Duncan!!

Wonderful chalet

Our group of 13 stayed in chalet Husky from 28 Dec; communication leading up to our holiday was excellent. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Sarah and Thomas. The chalet is modern, beautifully decorated, very clean and close to the lifts, ski hire shop & town. The chalet owners both came to introduce themselves on separate occasions and again during the week giving us ample opportunity to ask any questions, not that we needed to as our chalet hosts had already given us all the information we needed.

Thomas and Sarah, our hosts for the week, were amazing! Without intruding they catered to our every whim. We were served a wonderful breakfast to order every morning and each afternoon on returning from the slopes there was a gorgeous cake or cookies to enjoy. Amongst our group we had a vegetarian and a dairy allergic both of whom were blown away by the level of consideration shown and the quality of food. The food in the evening was not just restaurant quality but high end restaurant quality, all delivered to our table with an obvious passion for sharing food created using the wonderful local produce. Sarah and Thomas always had time to chat even though they were constantly busy and they both played a huge part in making our holiday extra special.

The chalet has a hot tub on the balcony with a wonderful view of Mont Blanc. It was kept clean and wonderfully warm for our return from skiing. I would recommend Chalet Husky without hesitation.

Amazing Christmas holiday!

This was our first ski trip and we were really looking forward to being away over the festive period and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! Duncan and Toorna were absolutely amazing in organising the trip for us and answered any questions that we had. The whole booking process was really smooth and Toorna even helped us out when our trains from the airport were cancelled due to strikes. They couldn’t do enough for you and even stopped by the chalet occasionally to see how we were getting on.

Larissa and Raz were our hosts and they looked after us for the week. Raz’s food is absolutely out of this world. His food was divine and plentiful and I even struggled to eat the cheese board after a 3 course meal that started with canapés and ended with the most amazing puddings. The wine was good and the champagne on Christmas Day was a nice touch. A cooked breakfast every morning before you hit the slopes was a huge hit and very tasty. Larissa cleaned our rooms every day and they were to such a high standard. Both her and Raz made us feel very welcome and helped with any enquiries we had. Their honesty bar is such a treat too! We loved it.

We decided to stay in La Plagne as it’s meant to be good for beginner skiers/boarders with lots of blue runs and it was perfect for us. The chalet is located right next door to a bubble lift which made it really easy getting to the slopes in the morning and there was never a queue. The slopes were amazing and views were quite spectacular. Especially from the the dining and living area the views of the opposite mountain were unreal. Montchavin is a tiny village with only a few restaurants and a couple of bars but we feel this added to its character and made it feel very authentic mountain village. Camp de Base is a good bar which we occasionally went to prior to dinner. We had lunch out at Zacotta and this was the best pizza we both had in a long time. All in all we definitely recommend the Chalet as the location was perfect for us, particularly being first time skiers/boarders. We are looking into booking again for next Christmas already!

Faultless!

We (my husband, our children (aged 26 and 25) and I) stayed at Pisteside in December 2019 and had a superb break. Toorna and Duncan did a grand job, willingly sorting various aspects for us ahead of our stay – airport transfers, ski rental and ski passes. We were greeted warmly by Duncan on our arrival and our fabulous chalet hosts, Chanice and Duncan (mark II!). We could not fault the service we received over our week’s stay on all fronts. But we must highlight the amazing quality of the food. Breakfasts to order, homemade cakes at 4pm, canapés at 7pm, followed by a haute cuisine three course dinner. We felt so blessed. We would highly recommend Alpine 365 and more particularly Pisteside Chalet. We will definitely be back!! Many thanks.

Just as wonderful as last year!

This was our second holiday with Alpine 365, and it was just as wonderful as the first trip last year. Duncan and Toorna run their chalet company in a friendly manner and interact with their guests. Chef Rob was excellent, every meal was a treat of “expensive restaurant quality” food. Holly kept the chalet looking spotless, and Tom ensured the hot tub was ready after a day on the pistes.

Chalet Husky is next to a lift, and you can ski back to it at the end of the day. It is in an excellent location for skiing in either La Plagne or Les Arcs. The chalet has everything you need for a great week of skiing!

One of our best trips!

We have just returned from Chalet Chocolat after a fantastic week.

The Chalet is well located with a very short walk to 2 lifts, the chalet is modern and clean with a very secluded hot tub on the roof, rooms are a nice size and bathrooms are well equipped.

The organisation was great from the start; we received all the information we required on a timely basis and all other questions were answered quickly. We booked transfers and ski passes through the chalet which all worked well.

The real highlight for us had to be the hosts, Laura and Jake, who were friendly, relaxed and really made us feel welcome in the chalet.

The food was outstanding all week we all looked forward to what would be served each evening, it was closer to what I would expect to receive in a quality restaurant rather than a catered ski chalet.

All in we had a great week and will remember this as one of our best trips.

Super Husky!

We have used Alpine365 in various chalets before, but Chalet Husky was our best experience yet !
Beautiful and equally sized rooms (very important for our group of 9); a great hot tub with views over the mountains, a fantastic location with ski in and out or hop up in the bubble next door.

The food provided by Rob was excellent (A365 always employ professional chefs) with nothing too much to ask -including delicious gluten free cakes and a fresh pot of lemon curd each day !

Duncan oversees all with a gentle efficient touch and the quick transfer from the Eurostar makes a perfect experience !
