Family on chairlift in La Plagne

Everything Arranged for You

  • Note if you book your extras via us, we don’t charge you upfront, with payment only due 1-2 weeks before your trip. So you get the peace-of-mind of pre-booking, without the risk of chasing down a refund if you need to cancel for any reason.

We know that with an independent chalet holiday, booking your accommodation is just one part of the equation – on top of this, you’ll have to work out how best to get to resort; you’ll all need a lift pass – but which one? And some of your group may need lessons, but at what level, and who with? And where’s best for ski hire?

We often hear from guests that, with some independent chalet companies, they’ve had to sort out everything themselves – which can be a pain. But here at Alpine365, we’ll do the hard work for you and help advise on everything for you before you arrive. We’ll call the ski schools, check availability and send you options on lessons. We’ll work out which passes are best and cheapest for your group. Once we know your flight details, we’ll search for the most competitive airport transfer for your group. If you’re driving, we can recommend places to stay en-route! If you need childcare, we can also advise (lots of the nannies have baby-sat our own kids so we can personally recommend them!)

Ski Passes – There are lots of different options and deals for ski passes, all of which we can advise on, and book for you. Check out full info below.

(We also have lots of offers and discounts on lift passes  – plus we’ll try to either match or beat all official prices online!)

Ski Passes

Several weeks before the start of your holiday, we’ll send you all the information you need to decide which lift pass is best for your group. We’ll advise you of any special offers and if you’re not sure which pass you need, just get in touch and we’ll happily advise.

As part of our service, we then pre-order your passes so they are ready and waiting for you in the chalet. You’ll pay the same prices as if you went to the lift pass office or booked online, and we can take payment as late as a few days before you arrive (or even after you arrive for our catered guests!). Simply put, you won’t ever have to queue up in the lift pass office on your first day, and you won’t have to stump up the cash far in advance as you would if you booked your passes online.

All passes are electronic – stick them in your pocket and forget about them, the turnstiles at the lifts read your pass electronically and let you through.

Passes are available for either La Plagne or the Paradiski – click on The Resort if you need some more info on the areas (or get in touch, we’re here to help!)

Ski Hire
– You want great kit, at a good price, and near to the chalet so there’s no trekking with ski gear. We’ve teamed up with two companies to deliver just that for our guests – see below for full info

Ski Hire

Trudging down to the ski hire shop can be one of the worst aspects of arriving at a ski resort, particularly if you arrive late or the weather’s grotty. So we’ve teamed up with what we think are the best options for each of our chalets, to make the process as hassle-free as possible when you arrive.

The Les Coches Chalets (Chalet Pisteside)

We have two great options, either a ski delivery service, or a local shop – both with great discounts, check out the links for more info:

SkiDoc Ski Delivery
Evo2 Shop Les Coches

The Montchavin Chalet Collection (Chalet ChocolatChalet Grizzli, Chalet Husky and Chalet Bluebird)

Our Montchavin chalets are right by a ski lift, but also right in the village too. And there’s a ski shop right opposite the chalets, and we’ve got a great discount with them, so you can get a great price with the guarantee you’ll have the shortest walk back with the skis (and it truly is just over the road – the shop is only about 25 metres from the chalets!)

And they also have some great kit, featuring brands you won’t find in many other ski shops, such as Atomic and Movement. If you want to find out a bit more, click on this link:

Evo2 Shop Montchavin

But don’t book yet – we have a discount code for great reductions, but it’s only available to our guests, so get in touch if you’re booked to stay with us, and we’ll send you the details!

Ski Lessons
– Booking ski school can be confusing – do you want group lessons or privates? Which ski school? What time? But don’t worry, we’ve got lots of the info to hand, so take a look below to see how we can help.

Ski Lessons

We’re extremely lucky to work with 4 great ski schools in Montchavin Les Coches – all of which offer English-speaking instructors. You have a choice of:

  • Evolution2 – a small, friendly, local school
  • World Ski Class – the English-speaking arm of ESF
  • Lime Snowsports – a British couple offering private tuition
  • Ski New Generation – a renowned British ski school company

We’ll advise on what is best for you based on your individual requirements, and will then book any lessons you require on your behalf. And when you get here, we’ll show you exactly where to go, so your only concern will be with improving your technique.

Either way, let us know if you’re interested in lessons and we’ll send over the information you need to start making an informed decision.

Childcare
– When it comes to childcare, it’s important that it’s right for you and your individual needs. We can advise on crèches and nannies, and point you in the right direction to get things arranged. There’s plenty more guidance below.

Childcare

As parents of small children ourselves, we know that when it comes to looking after your children, peace-of-mind is a priority, which is why we try to help out as much as we can to ensure you can have a relaxing holiday, safe in the knowledge that your nearest and dearest are safely looked after.

From local ski school and crèche, to individual in-chalet nannies, whatever your needs we can advise and help with the arrangements.

Older children, typically 4 and above, can have ski lessons with optional childcare afterwards.

For younger children, there are two options. If they are between 6 months and 3 years, your children can be put into the local crèche in Les Coches, where they will be looked after in a larger group of children. Do note that the creche is very French and the staff don’t really speak English.

Or we can arrange for English-speaking nannies to come directly to the chalet to look after your young ones whilst you are out skiing. We work with few different companies such as Snowlittle. We know many of the nannies (some of them have babysat our own children!) so we’re more than happy to help.

We can send you information about prices and times but we always advise parents to arrange childcare directly so they are sure they are making the right choice.

In-Chalet Massages
– at the end of the day, what could be better than a massage in the comfort of your own chalet soothe those weary muscles? Well don’t worry, we’ve got it covered! Click below for more info

In-chalet Massage

Aching muscles and sore legs after a hard day on the slopes? Then why not indulge in a lovely massage to soothe away any pains!

We’ve partnered with Massage Me, an experienced mobile massage service that offers a range of treatments. And you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own room as they will come to the chalet!

Treatments include Swedish massage, stone therapy, reflexology, deep tissue massage and physiotherapy, and they can be taken any time between 8am and 8pm, with prices starting from 40€.

Discounts apply if you book 3 or more consecutive hours, and you can even buy gift vouchers to treat a friend or partner.

If you would like to book, there’s no need to arrange it before your trip – simply ask the staff in the chalet when you arrive, or at any time throughout your week. Go on, treat yourselves!

Travel – as a small, independent firm, we don’t book flights to and from France – but once you are here, we can help and advise on everything else. Whether it’s simply advice on the best airports, or how to drive to the chalet, or booking an airport transfer, we’re here to help out. For full information and all the options, head on over to Getting Here.
