Ski Train

London St Pancras - Aime/Bourg St Maurice
It is possible to take the Eurostar direct from the UK to within 20 minutes of our chalets - as such, it is a popular choice with many of our guests.

Note though that you can only pick it up in the UK in either London or Kent, so if you don’t live in the south east it may not be for you.

But if the departure locations work, the snow train has some real pluses. Firstly, it delivers you to Bourg St Maurice or Aime La Plagne stations – so your transfer time to the chalet is minimal (about 20mins). Taxis are readily available at the station, and it costs around €40-80 depending upon your group size to get to our chalets. Also, depending upon when you arrive, we may be able to pick you up in one of our company vehicles for only €30 - please check with us directly for availability.

Secondly, the train is greener than flying, which is good for us all. And because everyone in the mountains is keen to preserve this wonderful environment for ourselves and future generations, we’re keen to encourage our customers to travel by train.

Finally, most trains are an overnight service from the UK on a Friday night, arriving in the Alps early on Saturday morning. They then leave late in the evening the following Saturday. All this means, when combined with the short transfer time, you get to ski or board for 8 days (rather than 6 if you fly). And that’s why you’re coming, right?

(Note there are daytime services too!)

London St Pancras - Lyon train station
Eurostar has launched a brand new, super fast train from London St Pancras to Lyon train station. During the winter season, it goes once a week on a Saturday. The journey takes under 5 hours and with prices starting from £89 return, it could provide a good alternative to flying. From Lyon airport, we can arrange a transfer for you.

For complete information, or to book your train, visit the Eurostar website or the Voyages SNCF website

Please note that if you take the overnight snow train, we cannot guarantee you will able to access your room on arrival, as it may still be occupied. Likewise, you may not be able to keep your room until your return from skiing on your departure Saturday. However, we will definitely have somewhere to store all your bags, and we’ll do our best to give you access to a room to change/bath/shower as well (but we cannot guarantee this).
